documentary, director Ken Burns tells the story of World War II from the
perspective of a handful of men and women in four American towns.
Now, in conjunction with the September 23rd debut of the documentary,
veterans, as well as their friends and families, in towns across America
are being invited to share personal remembrances, photos, and video at
"Saluting America's Veterans," a special Website launched today by
AmericanProfile.com.
Anchored by a profile of Burns and exclusive video excerpts from the
documentary, the interactive, multimedia Website aims to serve as a living
museum to veterans who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam,
The Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Following the lead of Burns' documentary, which brings the global
