PHILADELPHIA -

-Louisiana Governor-Elect Piyush Jindal - An Indian [Asian]-American (not American Indian 1) broke all kinds of stereotypes of the Deep South when he was elected Governor of the State of Louisiana. For years the mainstream media has placed in the minds of many Americans, this guilt-complex that the White-Southern Population, like who make up the majority of Louisiana, are racist bigots. This surely does throw that out of the window. Governor-Elect Jindal won by a wide margin. Here is a map (by parish) of his dominance

The U.S. Census Facts of Louisiana shows that Louisiana is made-up of about ~64% White and ~33% Black population. Eighty percent of Louisianans are Christian.  This final results shows just how fair these Southerners' are:

   4,782 0%       B. Alexandrenko,               O
226,364 17%   Walter J. Boasso,                D
161,425 12%    Foster Campbell,                D

-Illegal Immigrants are allowed to Drive in New York

This Washington Times article has stated that NY Governor Eliot Spitzer, D N.Y., who is Jewish, started a major political fight by ordering state agents to issue driver's licenses to illegal aliens.

My question is: If you give license (privilege) to a person/place/thing, etc, that is illegal - If that noun made an illegal [in this case driving] infraction, wouldn't that be double-jeopardy? Will this case change the definition of the word illegal?

-Stopped by a Cop?

There have been many home and police car videos on LiveLeak.com and YouTube.com of people getting arrested lately.

Most, if not all, of these cases can be avoided. [this is where the major media can step-in and re-educate the public]. If you notice, in these videos, the driver of the vehicle begins to argue with the police officer. It's like they [drivers] learned this argument technique from listening to civil rights leaders or from a jailhouse lawyer. 'My rights, my rights!"

The first thing they say to the P.O. is, "Why did you stop me?" or "Problem Officer?". But then they get into it after the cop tells them why they were stopped. This is your [as a driver] first mistake: Friction

A Voluntary Technique:

When the P.O. pulls you over and comes towards your vehicle (if you don't know why you were stopped) do this: Place your hands on the dash or up in the air, as to not give the P.O. any doubt that he is entering into something hostile. Then say, "Good morning/afternoon/evening, officer/sir." The P.O. after showing you courtesy [unless he greeted you first (in most cases)], will then tell you why you were stopped.  Do every thing he/she asks of you: mostly license/registration/insurance.  If the P.O. asks you to "step outside the vehicle, please": Comply. Why? He may or may not tell you at this point -something could have happened preceding this: like a robbery and you or your vehicle fits the description; a false call or any of numerous reasons. Think of the P.O. as a Drill Sergeant as he is the one who ENFORCES the law, not the driver. Remember, the driver OBEYS the law. He/She may arrest you or may not. Regardless, do not jump the gun (so to speak) and act like your are in a courtroom. Failure to follow a Police Officer's directions (orders) alone can be grounds (reason) for arrest - which may lead you into a courtroom.

Now, if you know why you are being stopped, do not try to get-away. Remember, 'no matter how fast your go - you cannot outrun the radio'.

Best to OBEY (follow) the Police Officer and AVOID the Courtroom.
