Nightly Reports Filed from Iraq from Senior War Correspondent Rob Riggle

Stewart" for "Operation Silent Thunder: The Daily Show in Iraq," a week of
special reports filed from Iraq. Yes, actual Iraq, not greenscreen Iraq.
"Daily Show" Senior War Correspondent Rob Riggle will provide in-depth
coverage and insights from the front lines throughout the country where he
was embedded with the troops and learned just how hot 120 degrees really
feels. Tune-in to "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" the week of August 20
at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT for "Operation Silent Thunder: 'The Daily Show' in
Iraq."
"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT and repeats
at 1:00 a.m. the same night and at 10:00 a.m., 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. the
following day. All segments will be posted for viewing the following day at
both http://www.comedycentral.com with URL and embed links.
While on this trip to Iraq, Riggle toured with Horatio Sanz, Rob Huebel
and Paul Scheer performing comedy sketches for the troops as part of the
USO/Multi National Corps - Iraq entertainment tour entitled "Operation Feel
the Heat." A Major in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, Riggle served in
Liberia, Kosovo and Afghanistan, and received more than 19 medals and
ribbons, including the Combat Action Ribbon. Riggle's television credits
include: "Saturday Night Live" (2004-2005), "The Office" and "Arrested
Development." He has also appeared numerous times on "Late Night with Conan
O'Brien" from 1998 to 2004.
Jon Stewart and David Javerbaum are the executive producers of "The
Daily Show with Jon Stewart" with Kahane Corn, Rory Albanese and Josh Lieb
serving as co-executive producers. The series' head writer is Steve Bodow.
